No Win, No Fee funding explained
At Michael Rose & Baylis, we offer all of our clients No Win, No Fee funding for claims. This form of funding is also referred to as a Conditional Fee Agreement, which is an agreement between a client and a solicitor, signed by both parties at the start of any claim.
It’s important that each client understands this funding arrangement and is certain that it’s the right option for them before starting their claim with us. We’ve provided some brief details below, however the terms of individual agreements will be explained in more detail before the client is expected to make a decision.
What if my claim is successful?
If a claim is successful and there is an award of compensation, there will be deductions from the compensation monies as a contribution towards the client’s legal fees and to cover any legal insurance premiums.
What if my claim is unsuccessful?
If a claim is unsuccessful, and the client has complied fully with the terms of the agreement, then there will be no charges.
Is this funding arrangement applicable to all claims?
This funding arrangement is only suitable for claims which have reasonable prospects of being successful. In practice, this means that all claims are regularly reviewed in order to ensure that this funding arrangement still applies.
